We spent one night at the Raj Park in early January 2012. The hotel is in a central location, not far from the shopping areas.The room was very clean and comfortable, and staff were very helpful, polite and efficient. Very good value for money, would definitely stay there again.

Bathroom was excellent. The room was neat and clean. Stayed for two nights. Buffet breakfast at their restaurant was just average and so was their service. In alot of hotels the waiters will offer to get you coffee or tea but not here. Reception was courteous n helpful.

If you want a good and decent hotel, with the adequate facilities and in a good location coupled with a reasonable price, then the Raj Park it is!! This is one of those 'too good to be true' hotels in it's category. it is located a stone's throw away from the famed Marina Beach and the downtown area of Chennai. What i liked about this property, is that the decor is a mix between the local South Indian the Gothic British architecture, and when you enter the hotel, you get a lovely fragrance of sandalwood wafting throughout the day!! The lobby is quite small, but it is more of a business hotel and does not cater that much to families. The rooms are quite good and comfortable with all the adequate facilities, and I was lucky enought to get one with a large bath tub....heaven!!!! They have valet parking and one thing of mention is a restaurant right opposite the hotel, which serves up very good soups, sandwiches and salads!! A good and reasonable stay here any day of the year!!

I usually stay at Hotel Raj Park during my tour to Chennai and I found this hotel very comformatble.
It is just adjecent to my office so I prefer stating here always
