We were looking to have some authentic Italian food during our visit to Chennai last weekend and was told about Tuscana on Chamiers by Willi, located in the heart of Chennai, created by Chef Willi. The restaurant is located right opposite the Park Sheraton and was easy to find. They provide valet parking and staff is over eager to assist you right from the moment you reach. The place is well decorated and the theme of Italian – Tuscany house is depicting all the way in all its rooms. The rooms are all named differently and provide a different felling. We were a party of 8 people and were placed in a private room with great interior. After our meal were were given a tour of the place and discovered that they also have Air-conditioned tents and outside gazebo for a garden sitting experience and had a opportunity to see they 2 wood firing ovens. The food was really awesome – right from the salads, appetizers to the pasta and then the main course. They have a real extensive menu and I also noticed that the staff is quite willing to assist you with the selection in a very honest manner. We were told the place has the best of wood fired pizzas, pastas, salads, bruschetta, main dishes, tiramisu and panna cotta.
We ordered a few eggless pastas like the Spaghetti, Tagliatelle and Penne. I ordered the home-made sausage to go along with my Tagliatelle (it was definitely one of the best I have ever had). and my wife ordered the Carbonera Sausage Sauce. We also tried some of the Wood fired Pizzas on whole wheat and they were surely one of the finest we have ever had. Towards the end to top it all – the desserts were great as the food and we were offered their favorite Tiramisu and Chocolate Pizza. The best part of the whole experience was the pricing, as I live in Delhi and am used to playing about Rs 800 or so for each dishes but at Tuscana, it was half the price and a twice the portion. We all felt that it was definitely a bargain at upscale dining. I would most certainly recommend this place to all, if you are looking for a good authentic Italian restaurant in Chennai. It was a gastronomical delight …

I am very happy reading your detailed review. I am glad you took time & posted this on tripadvisor & this means a lot to us. I am glad that we were able to make a mark on you even though you must have had great experiences in new Delhi where there are enough choices available to you.
I look forward to your visits to my restaurants when ever you are in Chennai.
Thanks & Regards.
