This is a very comfortable property close to the railway station with prompt service and very friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast spread is also notable. They have a fine roof-top garden as well for candle-lit dinners. The suites look very neat and inviting. And the modest price makes the Om Niwas stay memorable indeed!

This hotel is about 15-20 minutes outside the city centre, which may be a drawback if you need to be downtown most of the time (like I did during the Jaipur Literature Festival). The room has a basic kitchenette, a living room and bedroom. Most of the facilities are available; wifi access is chargeable though. The breakfast room is in the basement of the hotel, and serves simple Indian and Western food, their Masala Chai is nice. It is was cold in Jaipur in January, so couldn't make use of the roof garden. From the airport to the hotel, it costs around 330-350 Rs. by taxi.

visited Jaipur in late December and can with surety that the hospitality of Om Niwas was par excellence. The cheerful faces of front desk and the warm service at the dining hall was praiseworthy. I had traveled with my 11 months old son and the well equipped kitchen in the suite was extremely helpful in preparing his meals. Apart from the service in the dining hall the breakfast buffet was a treat to the stomach. I stayed for 3 days and got excellent menu and choice to eat from. another great aspect of the hotel room is the clean bathroom which has all the other things that we require for our daily habits. the beautiful terrace garden and the flowers on the ground floor gave me numerous opportunities to click pictures with my son. the rooms are also well furnished and have lockers which give a sense of security. om Niwas is value for money and i would strongly recommend the hotel to all.

My short trip to Jaipur in the month of January was an extremely comfortable one, owing to the facilities I received at the hands of the staff of Om Niwas. I was impressed with the level of facilities provided for such a modest price. All rooms have room heaters and air conditioners to tend to your needs. The kitchen provided in the rooms is an added bonus. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet, which had a lot of options for everyone.

But for me the highlight of the trip would be the hotel's rooftop terrace garden- sun basking to beat the January chill.

Om Niwas was recommended to me by a friend and I'm glad that I listened to him.

In the end, I can comfortably say that I can come back to Jaipur even for only a stay at Om Niwas.
