Stay was pleasant. Hotel was nice. Staff was cordial. Clean rooms. Good view of Amer Fort from roof. Food was tasty. Morning tea had the fragrance of Rajasthan. This was a family trip. Would come to a business trip next time.

We had a pleasant stay here. The room was a good size and clean, the staff attentive, the rooftop enjoyable and located near the Fort. The highlight was being woken by loud noises. I literally thought parts of the building were crashing down - it was monkeys jumping all over the outside of the hotel!

Our stay at amer view was part of a tour package with a driver, so we can't really comment on value for money because it was tied in with our overall cost.
But what we can say is that we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a hotel that seems to pride itself on customer happiness. Upon our arrival our shower didn't work but when we alerted them to this they could not have done more to get it fixed.
The room itself was large, clean, had a nice view of the pink palace and generally comfortable.
One slight negative is the location which meant we were forced to eat in the hotel restaurant. But the food was well priced and a great standard. They also phone you when it is ready so you can chill out in your room that bit longer after a long day sightseeing.
