“Warm and friendly”

We stayed at Ikaki Niwas for 3 nights including New Year's eve. Probably the friendliest place we stayed during our 4 weeks in India and Nepal, JD is very friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and warm, has a good sized roof terrace with good views, the location is relatively quiet as it is towards the edge of the city, whilst still easily accessible by auto-rickshaw from the sights of the city. Would definitely recommend staying here.

“Home away from Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

My adult family of 5 stayed with JD at Ikaki Niwas over the New Year period and were treated like royalty. The room were comfortable and clean and the meals were first rate and plentiful. We were treated to an India cooking class on the roof top during New-Years eve and JD threw a party to welcome the NY with fireworks and local dancing and we had a blast. We also received very good advice on what to see and do and what to avoid. Our 3 days stay in Jaipur was memorable and if we ever return will certainly stay at Ikaki Niwas.

“Lovely homestay in Jaipur”

11 of us stayed in 6 different rooms at Ikaki Niwas from 22 Dec to 23 Dec 2011. Every room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. JD and his wife are great hosts who helped us in many ways. We had the most pleasant stay in Jaipur.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 3rd floor are quieter

“A quiet and peaceful spot in a hectic city, with a warm family welcome!”

This was my first trip to Jaipur, and indeed India! However I am sure it will not be my last, and I would definitely stay here again. The guest house is within a family home, and JD and his family could not have made us feel more welcome. The guest house was peaceful and the rooms large, airy and clean. The rooms were en-suite with a large bathroom with toilet and shower. All meals were provided on request, the food was very good and plentiful! An ideal base for those staying in the city- close to the centre but out of the hustle and bustle.

“Peaceful place with home atmosphere”

It was a real pleasure for me to stay in this nice, quiet and beautiful place, situated little beat away from crouded Jaipur centre. Spasious clean rooms have ac and hot water all the time, walls nice decorated with autenthic painting. Bad is very comfortable, bedsheets are clean. Large room is really nice, some of them faced the garden, and you feel like at home here. I spend one more night in Jaipur, because of this pleasant place. Family and stuff are really friendly, attentitive and helpful (i'm very grateful for everything). I will stay here for sure again during my next visit to Jaipur. Highest recomendations!
