“Fantastic stay at Vimal Heritage!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

My mom, brother and me stayed at Vimal Heritage during February 2012. We were thrilled with the quality of the hotel room; it was clean, comfortable and extremely well maintained.

Location of the hotel is slightly out of the way, which is a positive in terms of noise and traffic levels.

As a final touch, the staff was very pleasant, friendly and courteous. Everyone from the front desk, doorman, housekeeping staff and the restaurant staff were extremely nice. Of special note was the lady, the owner of this hotel....was always very helpful.

All things considered one of the best experiences that we had when we were in Jaipur.Loved this hotel.Would stay here again!

“really delightful and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

I loved this place. It was like being in a wonderful Indian home.I was travelling by myself and the family and all the staff made me feel very welcome and at home, even not worrying that I didn't have enough cash for my whole bill. The rooms were atmospheric and delightful and all the decorations were really lovely and everything very clean.Good hot water too and a lovely big shower. The only thing is to avoid one of the back rooms as the back stairs are metal and very noisy as staff run up and down.Great breakfasts and a good peaceful place to dine in the evenings, looking out at the beautiful blue pool, before retiring to my comfy huge bed.

Room Tip: upstairs, not at the back

“Amazing, incredible, fantastic service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012 via mobile

At Hotel Vimal I received the best service I have ever received anywhere in the world. I too was hospitalised with acute endocolitis after contracting food poisoning in Agra - everyone from the charming matriarchal owner, the sweet waiter, managers, cleaners to the turbaned man who seemed never to leave his post by the gate went well out of their way to assist me. Small touches like delivering drinks on a silver platter and refusing to let us carry even the smallest bag upstairs ourslves made our stay unforgettable. The staff were eager to enquire after my health, recommend places to eat that suited my prescribed diet and assist with our travel plans.

The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and kept very clean. It was cold at night but the staff offered extra blankets that were sufficient.

Free wifi and Internet use was great as was the lovely courtyard out front with love seats in the sun.

After an appalling and horrendous experience throughout the first part of our trip in India I literally had tears in my eyes to leave the Hotel Vimal family that had assisted me so well during my stay. Do not hesitate in staying here.

“Staying here will make u sick”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

I ended in the hospital for 4 days in jaipur with an e coli gastrointestinal infection after the staff provided me with tap water un a bottle. I figured this out by thinking the water line of the aquafina bottle shouldn't be filled to the very top.
Aside from this, the bed in breakfast is in The suburbs of jaipur and far from everything. Also,if you stay in January, the rooms are very cold even they provide ur room with 1 space heater bc the rooms are vast with high ceilings. There is no place to place your suitcase on a shelf. No hair dryer unless u ask. Wirless signal on the top floor is really sketchy. I would say the bathrooms look very clean. Choose somewhere else. The pictures show a vast colorful place but it is really run down. I only stayed here bc my tour operator put me here.

“MAGICAL!!! MARVELOUS!!!”

On my 1st trip to Jaipur I stayed at the 5* Sheraton Hotel. While there I checked out other possibilities for future visits. As soon as I walked into Vimal Heritage I knew that I'd found exactly what I wanted. I booked it and checked in for a 6 week stay. I loved every minute. The architecture and touches of colorful whimsy throughout are captivating. Each room is different and special in its own way. I thought I would switch around to try them all but my assigned room was so quiet and comfortable that I stayed there. I transformed the separate sitting area into my office - with a view of the pool and dining area. The room has cross ventilation and is light and airy. The owners are warm, wonderful, loving, helpful. The staff keep the hotel clean. There's a happy vibe that permeates the property. Now that I've found my new home away from home I would never consider going back to that Sheraton - Vimal Heritage is so much more comfortable. And more first class!!! I will be returning there in a couple of weeks.
