“Peaceful, homely stay at Jaipur”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

On our recent trip to Jaipur, we stayed at Hotel Hathroi Palace for a night and found it very homely. The owners were nice enough to provide us a 3 bedded room at quite economical rates, the veg food offered was home cooked and delicious, the masala tea was what was required after a long journey by road. Since it was winter and we were having a toddler with us, they provided us with a fresh, new, cosy double blanket (which was such a kind gesture), not only that they kept the corridor lights on in the night for us to feel comfortable. It was a very peaceful, homely and cosy stay at reasonable rates. They even provided us free pick up from the bus stand. Must try if u are looking for a homely and peaceful stay.

“clean, quiet and cheap”

Great hospitality shown by the owner's son Aditya Modani who would go out of the way to help the travelers for planning their sight seeing. Rooms are clean and are done up in traditional rajasthani decor. Heaven for a traveler who are tired and looking for some peace and rest. Try their rajasthani thali...that was awesome for just Rs. 150. just loved it here.

Room Tip: they have a four bed room which is ideal for families travelling with children.

It was the last week of our trip in India. It was a hard trip, but one of the beautifulest! Arrived in Jaipur, we were very tired and stressed! Our tourist guide indicate an other place, but no more rooms left. So after 10 minutes searching, we arrived in front of the Hathroi palace. We enter the hotel for asking on the availabilities.
Chances for us, there was!
We welcomed by Aditya Modani, son of the owner, he is a real good person and good professional. Thanks to him, we have passed one of the best moment in our indian trip.
Thank you so much!!!
Martin and Stéphanie

“Very pleasant stay with friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

This hotel is near to the train station and the Old City, yet tucked away in a quiet suburb street just a stone's throw away from the Peacock Rooftop Restaurant of Pearl Palace fame.

I stayed here for a few days with some friends to take a break from an exhausting mini-tour of India we were doing, and it provided the perfect hassle-free place we were looking for.

The hotel is family-run, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating; the rooms are simple but very comfortable. The building itself is pleasant, spacious and clean. Finally, the rate per room per night was very good given the service (400 rs per night/ 600 rs per night for three persons).

A lot of fuss is made about the neighboring Hotel Pearl Palace and rightly so; however Hotel Hathroi Palace is actually much quieter and considerably cheaper. Furthermore, it is always possible to go to Pearl Palace for a meal in the evening/during the day if you so wish.

Had no real problems at all here during my stay. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here and will probably do so again.
