“Nice hotel with good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

Nice hotel, we checked in late due to late train arrival at Agra fort. Reach Jaipur at 3.00 am ! The driver was waiting for us, after a few phone calls able to catch the driver since we have exit the behind gate. The car was waiting for us at the front gate. Reach the hotel at 3.30 am. The staff was half sleep , but greet us with a smile. We feel so much relief. After some 15 mninutes check in procedures finally able to get a good nap. Hot water are available all the time. We have booked 1 family room ( 4 occupants ) and 1 double room. Breakfast are free no matter what you order from thier menu. I had 1 masala ommelete with bread and a cup of coffee. Nice breakfast !
The tour arrangement was fantastic, with a tempo traveller. Thank to Mr. Jassy for arranging such a good day tour. Miss few places but able to cover main attractions such as, City Palace , Jaal Mahal , Hawa Mahal. Family members feels Jaipur is a must visit city despite few cities wen have traveled. Any how the hotel is kind enough to keep our luggage secured until we finish the day tour. The staff are nice and the service is good.

Room Tip: Any room is fine, family room also available.

“Well located and affordable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

We booked HR Palace for a family trip to Jaipur. It was my old parents, my sis and i. We spent 2 nights there and it was a good experience. The family room that we stayed in was pretty clean and cool inspite of the scorching heat outside. It was not a tourist season, so there were not many people around. I am not sure if the services during tourist season would be the same, but when we stayed, they were pretty quick. Staff was friendly and helped arrange a cab for our use on both days.Reception could do with a smile, though!
Auto rickshaws are available right outside the hotel at all times to take you to the city or any other tourist place around. The hotel is not very far away from the markets and is very well located, Not at the main road, so no sounds of traffic. One unforgettable thing was a baby lizard that came out of nowhere and jumped on to my sister's bed..lol...unforgettable because i am crazy scared of lizards!! The service boy came within a minute and took care of this, though!

Room Tip: If in a group and want to stay together, ask for the family room. It has 2 double beds and is good f...

“Best hotel in our 14 day Rajasthan trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 January 2012

The staff are friendly and helping.
-> Our plan was to finish Jaipur and head to Bikaner. On third day we checked out from H.R palace and kept luggage at the hotel and went to Choki Dhani in the evening. We directly went to in the night station at 10.00 PM. we came to know our train to Bikaner is delayed by 6 hours. I thought of going for some cheaper hotel for the night's stay. But couldn't get any in the budget. I called up H.R palace and they said they can provide and that was a life saver. Since my wife fell sick because of food poisoning, i had to stay in the hotel till next day night. They billed only for 1.5 day. Usually other hotels do it 2 days since we are checking out in the night.
-> They maintained price consistently without exploitation of my difficulty. Also, when we did online booking a month earlier for stay in jaipur, they gave us reduction for early booking and it is this reduction price they maintained consistently irrespective of the room we were given. I appreciate it a lot.

Location is Excellent: Near to the railway station, auto parking is next to the hotel, internet cafe available opposite to the hotel (hotel has wifi but no printer for taking print out), from the collectorate circle Bus No-5 takes you to the Havamahal, City palace, Jal maha, Amer Fort. On the way of Bus-5, you can get down at Brahmapuri or some place like that and trek up to Nahargarh Fort.

Good facilities: Check-out and can keep the luggage in the hotel till further travel needs. Wifi internet and stand alone computers at the reception for those who don't have laptops. Good restaurant.

Some improvement suggestion:
-> In third floor, the pigeons come and sit on the AC projection and makes lot of noise early int he morning which disturbs the precious morning sleep.
-> The Restaurant has very limited option for curry. Mostly only curry of preservable vegetables. Some items to the menu would be good.
-> Printer connected to the computers providing internet would be great.
-> Not having lift might be problem for some but I didn't have any issue to climb 3 floors.

Really a very good hotel. Thumbs up for the stay here.

“Value for money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 December 2011

We had booked this hotel only two day in advance, they provided me with a room on ground floor as I had requested. The room itself were well furnished and bathroom were very clean. The food was quiet good.

The location of the hotel is very close to city main street of Jaipur. Only problem we faced on first night was for parking. Has limited space to park in hotel.

Overall a very good value for money. Will surely stay there if I go to Jaipur next time

“Jaipur”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 December 2011

Good value but not a lot of frills. Very friendly and helpful staff. On a lively street but there is a courtyard to relax and a great second storey balcony to watch all that is happening on the street. Wonderful chai and good coffee, especially welcome after many hours of flying. Airport pickup really appreciated. Secure.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front may be noisy but also most enjoyable to have the balcony.
