“a very good holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

I visited Jaipur with my parents from the 23rd to the 25th of Jan 2012. I have to say that my family and I enjoyed both Mr Dilip & Mrs Tanuja's hospitality. Mr Dilip was kind enough to pick us up from the Jaipur Railway at no cost. He was more than willing to cater to our needs. I especially enjoyed thier dinner where Mr Dilip will be in charge of the non-veg and Mrs Dilip will do the veg. Overall, our stay was one to remember and I agree with every good review here. Would really recommend this to anyone, especially to those who wants to experience the Indian culture.

Room Tip: If you want privacy, you could opt for the rooms upstairs (couples)

“A stay beyond our expectations !”

We stayed from 26th to 29th October, 2011. While booking we did not know what to expect, but Mr. Dilip and Mrs. Tanuja Chandra surpassed all our expectations. - the warm and homely welcome, the clean and comfortable room, the simple and delicious meals, the assistance and suggestions for sightseeing and ticketing, and onward hotel bookings....... and lots more. We wish we had spent some more time in Jaipur with them. Their hospitality makes us want to visit Jaipur again, and when we do, it will be a stay with them only.

“Very cosy”

We stayed here for 2 nights and there's really nothing bad we have to say. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and the owners are very nice. We had some great talks about the Indian society and culture and we got to learn a lot. The location is pretty good (a big factor with us). Food was 10/10.

“Good hotel with all facilites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2010

We visited Jaipur as a part of our Rajasthan tour in October this year. We really enjoyed the stay. Although it was hardly we spent much time in the hotel. Early morning, we used to go out for local sight seeings and we used to check in late in the evening. The rooms were well decorated, had hot and cold water and room service. The manager was really helpful to arrange local sight seeings for our group.

“You must stay here! Perfect in every way :-). Lifelong happy memories!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 December 2010

We cannot recommend Jaipurhomestay highly enough. Dilip and Tanu are two of the most wonderful, friendly and caring people you could ever meet. Nothing is too much for them and no question or request, however unusual, goes without a dedicated and full response. They will tailor your holiday or trip to suit your needs and ensure that you have a fantastic time.

We have stayed in hotels in Jaipur where we have paid far more money for a far less positive experience! Dilip and Tanu's home is elegant, comfortable and spacious. We found ourselves looking forward to going back there each evening! Tanu's cooking is absolutely delightful. She provided a fantastic variety of tasty dishes. We were so taken with her Poha dish that we asked how to make it and Tanu very kindly made it again with us in the kitchen taking notes. In fact we made this dish at home today and will always think of our wonderful trip every time we eat it!

I am an orthopaedic surgeon and was in Jaipur to present in a conference. Dilip took us to meet his personal friends who work in orthopaedics and also took us to see the local government hospital. In addition he arranged a guided tour of the Jaipur Foot Clinic where we watched the whole production process for manufacturing prothetic limbs. These experiences were absolutely amazing and I will cherish them forever.

My husband is very interested in pottery. Dilip arranged a trip to see the potters at work where my husband even tried his hand at making a pot! He also researched where to buy the best Jaipur Blue Pottery and even helped us to wrap our purchases safely for the trip home!

In summary we are so pleased that we stayed here as we have come away with a wealth of interesting, exciting and culturally varied experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
