If you are staying in Mumbai for a month or more ( I stayed for a week on my corporate account) then THIS is THE place to settle down for while. HOME and I do highlight HOME away from HOME. this is where to stay, make no mistake about it

After being placed on a 3 month project in Mumbai I began looking for housing during my stay. I wanted to live in a hotel as a last resort so a serviced apartment seemed appropriate for my application. Knowing almost nothing about Mumbai at the time I did my best to appropriate locations to live. The Taj is positioned in a perfect location in Colaba by Cooperage Grounds and a block from Mumbai's version of 5th ave(looks NOTHING like it) so the shopping was decent. Being in the south Mumbai is great as there is less commotion as other parts of the city yet still having great places eat, drink and walk. The Taj is wonderful and the staff even better. With 80 units the building is bustling with activity and the clientele as a whole is clearly very well to do. The pool is a very peaceful escape from the insanity of the city and the deli offers average food at most hours of day/evening so that is a wonderful benefit when wanting to just stay in. Overall I would say the best place you could live in Mumbai south of the airport.
