Stayed at the Hotel Highway Residency just for one (very short) night. The flight from Goa was delayed and we got to the hotel around midnight. The rickshaw driver hardly found the place, it was dark but it seamed as if the hotel was on the shore of some slum (which of course is quit common in this particular city). The hotel was OK but not a very nice place to stay (and we only stayed for three hours!). But it was fairly cheep. We had a room for 4 people which was why we choose this hotel.

Basic and somewhere to crash before your flight.

Cold shower was the worst bit....Helpful staff though and excellent telephone service. free pick up was on time and arranged a taxi which was also on time it cost 150.00 rps. Also the owner let me use the hotel personal computer to confirm and print off my boarding pass for the onward flight at no cost which I thought was really kind.
Rooms were very small as said before but what do you expect for the price. We found the attached restaurant food was ok and made us extra chapatis and naan bread when we needed it. The food was quite tasty and fresh made ...we had no bad effects later either lol

The hotel is about a 10 min drive from the domestic airport and they have a free pickup facility but no drop facility. For early morning flights, taxis are readily available. This is practically the only thing the Hotel can advertise. The decor is minimal, the rooms especially the rooms on the ground floor are the smallest possible, the A.C is noisy and the setup is clean. The food is O.K but costly. The downtown business locations like Bandra are pretty close by. So if one is on business trip to Mumbai with barely any time to spend in the Hotel except for sleeping, this Hotel may just serve the purpose.

i didn't set high hopes on this hotel. this is where i spent my first night in india, and i only stayed here because i arrived at 2am and needed a place to crash right out of the airport- since it's about an hour away from the downtown area. the sheets were dirty and i left the lights on because i was scared of bugs.

it was cheap, relatively clean and had a bathroom. i wouldn't recommend this unless your expectations are as low as mine were.
