One of the very few vegetarian restaurants I would gladly eat at. Love their variety of authentic food from various regions of India, especially the farali food - their malpua and jalebis are excellent. Wish the restaurant was bigger though - the wait to get a table is sometimes too long.

Excellent food, not very expensive either. I espeically love their Jowar Pita pockets, daal-bhaat and undhiyu.

Great Gujarati cuisine ...authentic and pure veg. The dishes here are what your grandmom used to make ...not something you have in a normal Veg restaurant. Their simple Khichadi's have varieties ...try all. Loved their papdi baingan veg in green masala, Moong dal Khichadi ... can go on ...just try all the dishes ...each one is amazing. You cannot go to Soam once ...you have to go again and again to try the variety of dishes there. They have a vlet parking so no worries on that. The service too is fast. On weekends you may have to wait for a table as they do not take reservations... but worth the wait !!!

This restaurant is just opposite the famous Babulnath temple in South Mumbai. This restaurant specializes in Gujarati dishes such as khichdi, kadhi, undhyu and sabudana vada. The food is quite tasty and the service is good. The amvbiance is also quite nice. Gujrati people like this place but people who would like to taste authentic Gujarati food can go to Soam.
