First let me point out that a lot of revis here , the ones talking about international cusine / south indian / snacks , actually reffer to two other restaurants run by the same managment in the same locality ... Shud & Swati.

Now to Surbhi , A pleasure visiting every time , a price fixed , sit down all you can eat place . One has a choice of chosing between three fixed menus ... Marwari , Gujrati & Punjabi , all the food and drinks you have is included in a fixed cost and the only extra you need to pay for is botteled water , that is if you order any :)

Have always had the Marwadi thali , which is a treat with Gatta / Kher Sangri , Dal and loads more traditional dishes , accompnied by many diffrent kind of dreshly cooked breads including but not limited to Besni Roti , Missi Roti , Bajra Roti , Poori and rice and kichri with melted desi ghee poured on top . all of this accompnied by various fresh green salads and pickels and chutnies as also some savoury starters and yum deserts.

Have always found the place crowded but the wait has always been worth the while , the staff is courtious and freindly and they force feed you :) , is like eating at a favouret uncel's house. I always tend to over eat ., A must visit plce for someone looking for veg homestyle cooked mels , a true taste of Northen and western India.
