me and my 'wouldbe' arrived hotel welcome palace at arund 8pm.the hotel management gave us a warm welcome as we bookd d hotel earlier.we had no problem during d check in but as we are young couples dey were a bit confused and remembered us about the rade that may happen.the room and bathroom is very clean and worthfull for the money as we paid 900rs for a super deluxe room.room service is not good.never take any help from them. they are cunning that they told us he can bring bear or any drinks for us. but overall we had a very good experience there.....

This hotel is cheap budget hotel near New Delhi station. I stayed there for one night only. Room was very small, noisy, toilet had a licking in water heater and very dark also. I just need to stay for one night to catch my early morning train thats why I decide to stay there. Not suitable for long stay or family stay. You will get better hotel nearby. The looks of the room diffirent from the photo given in the website.

My daughter and myself arrived in Delhi well before sunset and took a rick to our hotel in what turned out to be a dirty, depleted part of the city. The entire road was lined with budget hotels. Our hotel was Hotel Welcome Palace which was surprisingly pretty clean given the slum-like look of the environment around it. I saw several Afghan families staying as guests at this hotel. This area was known as Pahrjganj (I think it means "Jungle Point) and at one time used to be a Muslim stronghold. We got into a conversation with an old rickshaw driver who told us a bit of the area's history and divulged that 30 years ago he had sold his house in this neighbourhood for a paltry Rs.1000. If he still had the property, according to him, today he would have been a multi-millionaire. Ah... whether in India, Canada or wherever, whether we are rickshaw drivers or successful stockbrokers, our regrets and our dreams are in sync.
