Hotel Garden View, Karol Baug Delhi – (Nov 09 to 13, 2010) Very much in heart of the market place. There are many hotels around and you are surrounded by market and very busy place. The hotel is very good and our std delux room was big enough although the toilets/Bathroom was small. Water is too hard. Boiler main switch is with room service. So while collecting room key from reception, ask them to switch on boiler too. We were given extra bedsheets, pillow, towels etc. when asked. We did not use AC, no do not know about it. TV was OK. Noise in the carridor due to guests sometime in night but hotel cannot be blamed for it. Neat/clean room as well as other hotel part. Room service was also good. Place found to be safe. No restaurant, but food & coffee were excellent. You get auto from here very quickly similarly autowala willing to come here. Metro station is walking distance and can be used.
Overall hotel was very good and can be recommended. One can have dinner here during stay.

Although the hotel is clean and spacious but the staff needs to be more efficient.The AC was kept at an unknown temperature which hardly cooled the room-the reason that the same is being maintained for all rooms from downstairs(although they had given remotes for all rooms).I found it hard to decipher.The room boy went for an obnoxious time before he came back with what we asked for.Ice cream mentioned in the menu but not available for consecutive 3 stays...that disturbs.Room rates kept varying for regular clients without reasons.Taxi hire is expensive compared to market rates prevalent in Delhi.all in all although might be reasonable in your budget but would leave you with a bad taste....best to avoid..since there are plenty of hotels in the vicinity.Credit cards not accepted...only cash.

The hotel is not a good hotel for family. Though it is a\n economical hotel we will expect atleast some average service from the staff.
Even the rooms are substandard and not much clean.
For the same price I believe we would have found a better hotel.

First time in Karolbagh region, went for an official meeting in NCR.

The service person were very helpful in bringing almost every thing (ONLY FOOD).

The location also good but the room in which i stayed was with a little cramped bathroom and also the TV needs an immediate replacement.

The food provided was also nice with the max time taken to bring the food was 15 min.

Always be ready mentality from the service staff and also the front office staff.

If you are going alone or with your spouse and your intention is not partying, this is the good place.
