This hotel was recommended by a friend. Although I knew the brochure pictures wouldn´t be the real thing, it was much much worse that what I expected. It is far from clean, far from spacious and really noisy. The sheets and towels weren´t as clean as I would´ve wanted them to be.
The location is good in relation to closeness to sightseeing, but the place around is not nice at all.
The only good (and its really good) thing it has it the travel agency next door (same name). The service was good and they made us a 10 day trip tailored to our needs and with decent hotels, much better than Southern actually.

i have stayed here in December 2011 for 3 nights.
1) i was given room 213 - In this room bathrooms are unbelievably pathetic (see the pictures), even bathrooms of a public toilet would be far better. Then there was not electricity in the bathroom and the water was not draining out.
After repeated complaints and many strides down to the reception (no lift). (oh forgot... if you call the reception they put you on hold indefinitely) i was given another room.
2) Now in room 315 - This was not worth of what i paid for but everything was working, and i was a bit relived. But when i came back to the room in the night, i saw a bag of mine was bitten by rats and the snacks were lying on the bed. It was horrifying. we were too scared to stay there.
I WENT TO THE RECEPTION AND ASKED FOR AN EXPLANATION, ALL I GOT WAS... "THIS HAPPENS IN YOUR HOMES TOO"
They do not even regret such happenings.

I stayed here so that i can get some south Indian food, but i can rather stay without eating for 3 days than stay here.

the positive reviews for this hotel here are very surprising to me.

We stayed in two super deluxe rooms during our trip to Delhi and other popular near-by places. We stayed twice - for 3 & for 1 day during our trip (hence, the review is based on 4 different rooms). The rooms are good by budget hotel standards (approx.15 feet x 15 feet) with spacious toilets. Like other typical budget hotels in Delhi - it has converted office floors/ nearby flats into rooms - the lobby and rooms are on two separate adjacent buildings.
What’s good:
1. Honest and transparent hotel staff (if you have stayed in other budget hotels in Delhi – you will know what I mean)
2. Hot water available late at night (@1.30 a.m. – hot water was on the tap!) and early in the morning (@4 a.m.) – very good for transit travelers
3. Pick-up and drop from airports and railway stations on a spacious Innova (Our pick-up was 1.00 a.m. – the hotel person was patiently waiting!)
4. Good complementary South Indian breakfast with soft Idli’s (even in winter) - ready by 5.30 a.m.!
5. Good follow up from the front desk – I got calls both the time- to confirm our arrival time

What’s not:
1. Only rooms at either ends of the floors have windows. All the other rooms in between do not have. Even though it has centralized a/c – it can make you feel claustrophobic.
2. Few rooms have incomplete screens on the window.

This was the last stay in our north india trip.We are happy to experience the hospitality.The staff were really professional. The Delhi tour was well planned. The advance was refunded when the required vehicle was not available while alternative arrangement was done.The location was convenient and the staff kept punctuality.Of course the were small although cosy.
