We discoverd the Manor's excellent restaurant on our first night in India and wished we had been staying there so we booked a junior suite for new years and then again for the end of our trip. The rooms were impecable, the location was very quiet (and it's really no big deal that it's far from attractions, taking a tuk-tuk to and from the hotel was fun), the food was outstanding (we had dinner there five times) and the service was the best we experienced in India. Hands down.

During our final day in India the concierge took my partner to a pharmacy late at night to help him buy some medication (this was after the concierge spent quite some time calling around Delhi looking for this medication). They also helped us ship stuff home and they went out and bought me soy milk so I could have my one and only protein smoothie and cup of tea in India. Too much information, but it's their attention to detail and impecable service that made our stay so perfect.

I can't say enough good things about the Manor, except that you'd expect to find them in Soho, not in Delhi, they are that good.

I regularly travel to india for work and the manor is a haven in delhi. Peaceful, calm, friendly, great staff, great location to get to all the sites. Only issue is the railway is quite close so ask for a quiet room. There are only 14 rooms which keeps it friendly and the staff are excellent

It is a very beautiful hotel good for relaxing weekend. It is expensive but still worth to stay. Restraint with several award is not good for me, the dish is only pretty and expensive. However, perhaps there can be no place to eat out within walking distance. The manager and hotel staffs are all helpful and polite. Location away from city center is also nice but difficult to find, so good to go by taxi or pick-up by hotel. I cannot find any problem except the restraint. Highly recommended for vacation.

The hotel was sold to us a boutique hotel. I am never sure exactly what this means other than small and no facilities, and in that sense this hotel didn't disappoint. The hotel itself is located in a kind of residential compound in one of the nicest areas of Delhi, but it wasn't the quietest - both mornings we were woken up by some sort of train nearby. There are only something like ten rooms; there was a spa area but you had to book in advance (I guess it was not manned full-time) and the spa 'menu' was not the most varied.

The breakfast was very nice, and dinner was amazing - a very well recommended Indian restaurant. My prawn curry was fantastic, and judging by the high-brow clientèle it's popular with the wealthy locals too. The bar did very nice cocktails.

The room itself was on the small side but perfectly adequate for two nights. The overall service level was excellent.

My main gripe was that there was nowhere nearby where you could wander out and have a beer or go to a bar - it was taxi or nothing - and the lack of anything else to do in the hotel, but then it's a boutique hotel so I guess if that's what you want then you probably don't expect lots of facilities.

All-in-all a nice place to base yourself for a few days tour of Delhi but I would have preferred a bigger room in a more popular hotel with more facilities.
