We were so happy when we arrived here after four weeks in India! Le Roi is the perfect retreat in Delhi, where everything else is very intense. It's clean, white and shiny, has great service and a wonderful included breakfast buffé. Delicious pancakes! Great location near to bazaars, metro and restaurants.

we stayed at hotel le roi for 3 nights from 28th January 2012. We arranged a hotel pick up from the airport and this was very smooth, it cost us R750 which is a lot but it was our first stop in India and we didnt want to face the pushy touts at the airport. The hotel is in a cenrtal location but the room we had was on the first floor and just above the foyer so you were kept awake with all the noise from the hotel as well as the outside. The hot waterin the shower also took a long time to get going and flooded the bathroom area. The room was ok but tired looking and could with some improvement. Delhi is very expensive so this was an ok hotel for what we paid but in comparison to other cities it was not value for money in our opinion.

I and my husband stayed 3 nights at Hotel Le Roi, and it was a pleasant stay. First of all, I recommend this place for those who like cultural exploration and don't mind staying in midst of Main Bazzar, a dusty unclean neighborhood. We found this location was excellent as it is very convenient to New Delhi station and Connaught Place. In fact, we loved Main Bazzar which is one of the tourist attractions with numerous traditional shops and food stalls.

We found the Hotel Le Roi is like an oasis in such a busy dusty neighborhood. It is a new building and the rooms are also clean and spacious. Free wifi is also available. Among others, we were most satisfied with the helpful service. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning after long train ride from Varanasi and we wanted to take a shower right away. Meanwhile, the room we preferred upstairs was not ready for check-in. Then the staff kindly offered us to use another room to take shower without any charge!

There was one small downside that the hot water did not come out right away and we needed to wait for 20 minutes for full amount of hot shower. But it was totally acceptable given infrastructure is generally poor in India.

I stayed there for 2 nights and it was an excellent experience for me. The staff are very pleasing, and the rooms are good. I highly recommend.
