4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Very good hotel for stay. I am satisfy with the experience of this hotel. The staff of hotel is very co-operative. hotel location is very nice for business class and even for family tour. Metro station is very near as i say it is walking distance around 1 km. also the local market of karol baug is 2 minute walking distance. Room is clean. They offer us early chek in our standard check in is 12pm but they offer us at 9 am. Also after check out they have serve us for storage of our luggage and even at evening they offer us room for be bath and be fresh.
I am appreciate the service of hotel

“Very bad hotel. Cheats”

This hotel is operated by shady people and is a horrible place to stay. The rooms are very bad and are not worth even Rs 500. I was charged Rs 3000. Spider webs, cockroach, dirt, wet walls, low class neighborhood are some of the filth.

Do not stay.

“Food Poisoning”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I was booked into this hotel through a travel agent. When i was taken to the room, lights were not working, water was leaking in the toilet, they changed my room. I was to originally stay in Raunak International, but they put me into Raunak Plaza. The second room they put me into did not have the bed fully made, I had to ask them to get a covering sheet. The blanket that went over the sheet looked dirty as. I asked for coffee in the night, they sent it in a flask that had not been ever cleaned and had mould all around as I poured the coffee, I returned the coffee and still payed for it. In the morning I went to the toilet, it looked as if it had not been cleaned in ages, I could see the faeces stuck all over the rim of the toilet seat. I had to call the so called reception, made up of a desk and chair. I had a cleaning man come up and clean the toilet. In the night, I made the mistake of ordering bed tea for 6.30 am. which did not arrive till 7.30 because the milk had not arrived. The breakfast that I ordered the previous night, was brought in by the man who had had just then cleaned the toilet. He brought continental breakfast along with it on an extremely dirty tray. When enquired about it, I could not get much in answer. I don't know if he cleaned his hand between cleaning the toilet and serving my breakfast. In India people who clean the toilets do not serve food. In the afternoon, after I returned from my shopping, I saw all the trays with dishes from the breakfast left outside the doors of some of the rooms. When leaving I told them that I had not ordered the continental breakfast, they told me it was part of the package and still had to pay for it.That evening I left for Singapore, and ended up with food poisoning. The worst hotel I have ever stayed. It was dirty, nobody cared, no empathy or consideration. It was like a pig sty. No body should ever stay there and end up sick like me.

Room Tip: None. I cannot suggest any because I did not see anything nice except that it is close to shops.

“Worst hotel I have ever stayed in...”

Booked this hotel through Yatra and it was like a nightmare.
VERY DIRTY rooms and bathrooms...
BAD service, infact no service at all...
UNSAFE for females... Stayed there with my family and I know how I had spend a night there. Few other guys got high after drinking a lot and created a scene all night. There was no support or objection from hotel staff...

In short, DONT EVEN GIVE IT A TRY...

“BEWARE!! DONT STAY HERE OR RAUNAK INTERNATIONAL”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Of my 15 years of travel and being a consultant to several travel agencies this is by far the worst hotel I have ever come across. Thats no exaggeration. Raunak Plaza and Raunak International are owned by the same shaddy owner. They post pictures on their website of the better hotel (Raunak International) then gave us a room in the run down, dirty Raunak Plaza. The hotel is at the end of a narrow road surrounded by garbage and can hear several dogs barking throughout the night. The room windows are terrible and lets in the cold or warm air depending what time of the year it is. Room had no air conditioning or fan. Upon entering the room it just felt dirty. Bathroom seemed like it had not been washed in months. Soap crud and dirty floors all over. We had our booking in January when its about 60F or cooler at night and 70F during the afternoon. When we got to the room at about 10pm there was no heat. When asked for a space heater, they said we would have to pay for one thats if they can get one. But they did not have any. We managed to spend a night listening to dogs fight and bark all night long thanks to the bad windows. The room has no locks so we stuck a chair in the door way to keep the door locked. Bathroom had no toilet paper and smelt bad. When we went for breakfast the next morning, There was a dirty area where the food was kept. There was enough grease on the food to kill an animal. We left without eating. When we went to check out they tried to force us to stay for the 2 more nights we were booked. We had to tell them that their service sucked so bad that we cant stay. Then they tried to tell us we had to pay more cause our booking was for 3 days not 1 even though there was no such offer made while booking. Then their credit card machine "stopped working" they claimed. So we made a cash payment into their bank account. Next they couldn't provide an invoice for the payment. Their manager or owner whoever he is was absolutely rude. Started raising his voice and throwing baseless accusations. Then they tried to stop us from leaving even after we paid. We had to fight our way out. They had their so called staff members violate and harass us. They physically abused and assaulted my companion. Their so called thugs grabbed her and tried to stop her from leaving. Then once outside they grabbed us and tried to rip her clothes. It was disgusting and appalling. People like these have no sense of right and attack a lady who was helpless. DO NOT STAY at either of their 2 hotels. If you value your safety and well being stay away from here. If you risk staying here keep your valuables locked away and keep a close eye on your belongings.

Room Tip: DO NOT stay here.
