I stayed at this guest house three times and really liked it the homely feel to it. These guest houses are located in some of the best and safest neighborhoods in Delhi where one could feel apart of the community and take that lovely early morning walks. This hotel is a excellent cost savings alternative to the larger five stars "fortress Hotels" and anyone who is either on a budget, or want a REAL feel for India, should stay here. I will stay here again because of the service, nice rooms, good staff, and excellent value for the money.
Downside: Breakfast could be better. Bring your own Starbucks instant coffee and you will be just fine!

I stayed here for 2 weeks in January, exploring Delhi and waiting for a Buddhist pilgrimage to begin. I LOVED THIS PLACE! It was clean, with much greenery outside, excellent, simple Indian food, extremely friendly and kind staff, and very well-located for tourism. My room was a bit dark, but that didn't matter because of the lovely terrace just outside. Anything I wanted or needed was available, and I got a number of good tourism tips from the owner and proprietress. All in all, I simply cannot praise the place enough. I've traveled in 45 countries, lived in Cairo, but this was my first trip to India. The Ahuja Residency helped to make it a wonderful experience.

I had stayed at Ahuja Residency in April as a one night stopover on my way to Leh. Though the hotel claimed that they provide lunch options till 3 pm, we were told that there was no food available when we asked for lunch at around 1:30 pm. We had to settle for some readymade, badly cooked food from a nearby restaurant that the staff got for us. When we asked whether snacks would be available in the evening at 7:15 pm, we were curtly informed by the cook that he was already preparing for dinner and thus there was no way that he could provide us with snacks. Learning from our experiences during lunch and supper, we went out for dinner at a local Chinese restaurant and did not risk getting no dinner if we stayed at the hotel. The rooms are strictly okay, and the service is below par and pretty abrasive. At 5,000 plus per night, I am confident better options exist in Delhi.

Was travelling to leh with a stop over in Delhi. Location is good as it is close to Khan Market. However, te service is pathetic. Food is not avaiable and the staff is rude. Overall not recommended. The cook declined to serve food to us when asked for in the evening. overall , very shabbily managed hotel. The price is also steep compared to other hotels in Delhi
