What a great laidback hostel on a beautiful island .
Situated on the hillside in the West indian community that first arrived
with the boom of the banana plantations , this is as authentic as..
Sandra & Simon ( the owners ) had recently got back , the poor surf dude in charge had been pretty ill & couldn`t do much .
The views , gardens & general ambience were topnotch with Sandras very capable kitchen
another part of a most memorable 5 day stay .
We had been to places more hectic in the past couple of weeks ( cities & treks & tours ) so enjoyed the perfect way to unwind taking in days at the wonderful Playa Wizard.or lounging around.
We stayed in the cabana behind with the shared fridge ,simple elegance at a very reasonable price , cool & comfortable .
Highly recommended affordable charm. with real hospitality .

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at Beverly's Hill, and I love it! The friendly owners and beautiful garden serve as a great home away from home when staying on Bastimentos...I think that Bastimentos' famous Red Frogs live mainly at Beverly's Hill, because i have seen dozens of them there...The hotel is located right in Bastimentos town but you feel as if you are staying in the jungle with ocean very close by, and great views! The rooms are all different and very creatively laid out, very rustic and comfortable...Definately recommend this place to anyone....

I was highly recommended to this little guesthouse on the beautiful laid-back island of Bastimentos. The owners (Simon and Sandra with a spectacular little daughter Naomi) were very kind and helpful and made the experience a pure delight for us both.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the garden was well cared for and interesting. There were a number of little red frogs on the tree and shrub leaves.

There are simply lovely views from the front of the property and it is easy to get a boat to the main island of Bocas. One couldn't ask for more!

The houses, the rooms and even the garden with his red frogs was very nice. But when we staid there, the owners where not at home and there was a guy who where not really interestet in his guests. When we arrived, it was ok. We checked in the most expensive room with private bath. Because there was a blackout, we did not have water. After the electicity came back, the guy explained us, that there will still be no water,because he had to fill the tank. But this evening he does not want to fill the tank. So we had to go thrugh the garden to the other toilet. We asked him two times for a little tank of water, for flushing the toilet. he promised, but forgot it. He prfefered hang around.
