I travelled to Bocas del Toro in November with my brother. We arrived in Bocas Town with no reservations or clue as to where to stay. The hustle and bustle in Bocas Town didn't appeal, so we hired a water taxi and left it up to the driver to take us to a hostel. It was the best decision we could've made!! We were taken to Beverlys Hill and any stress from the long travel day was instantly erased by the tranquil beauty of the place and Sandras genuinely welcoming attitude. The room we shared was spacious, with a fan and good mosquito nets. The view overlooking the bay made waking each day a great thing. We were treated as friends from the start, Simon, Sandra, and Naomi are excellent hosts, providing stories, local information, and great food. We planned on staying for a day or two, but the hospitality and laid back vibe convinced us to stay for over a week. Parrots, red frogs, beautiful gardens, and sloths were all present on the property. I would recommend this fine establishment in a heartbeat! When you go, be sure to pet Reno, he's a great dog!
