Dirty hotel which is a bit of a building sight, we lost power for a good hour during our stay as they were playing with the electrics, dont really feel like we god good value for money. I also found a cockroach in the bathroom. On a positive, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very nice.

I stayed at Eden Garden Hotel for 4 nights with my university friends and it had to be one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The food was so delicious(lake fish dish-my fav.dish), and the hotel staff were absolutely great and that was the best hotel staff that has a great hospitality. We felt like that we were in a paradise. They arranged a wild safari. We saw some beautiful birds, 3 crocodiles, wild pigs, few elephants, deers, quite a few monitor lizards,The atmosphere of this hotel is very tropical and tranquil.

Don’t go to Eden Garden Hotel
Not very clean. Staff is very unpleasant (which is so rare in Sri Lanka!!)
If you come the day when the boss has his birthday party, you couldn’t sleep (we have done this experience!). We slept 3 nights there and they wouldn’t offer anything to make up for this sleepless night.
Food isn’t good. Go to other restaurant in Dambulla, which are very good, such as J.C’s Village or Gimanhala transit hotel.
