It really was better than I thought it would be. I would like to visit again

Dirty room, probably used towels and bathroom even worse. Bad food. Convenient location.

I booked this hotel thru Srilanka.com during our visit to Sigiriya/Dambulla on 17th March 2001 for 1 night stay. We had booked for 2 rooms for 4 adults at $46 per room (including breakfast).

The best thing about it is its location. Located on Sigiriya Road, Its equidistant from Sigiriya as well as Dambulla Cave. With lots of trees, its a nice place to be in hot season. Also there is a pool available. It also offers dining on the pool side. Restaurant is available, so is room service (we didnt dine here but had breakfast)

Since one more of our friend joined us after booking, I was worried if there would be some problem at the hotel. But they agreed to upgrade one room to triple room for an additional charge without any hassles. Also if you are travelling with a driver, his accomodation is not charged.

Breakfast was good and adequate.( Juice,Toast, Jam,Omlette and Tea/Coffee)

The only problem is the way I had to book for this hotel thru Srilanka.com which follows a bit long process and takes 2-3 days. Also the hotel does not have money changing, so make sure you carry local currency.

we r a bunch of friends from colombo and we stayed the first two night at dis hotel as our destination was to the east coast of Srilanka. Its the best of location if your traveling towards to the east and for the heritance of sigiriya plus the wild life safaris.
Rooms were spacious with clean linen and best was the food and the hospitality of the staff they will help you out with anything. All in all its a good value for money as it was not the most expensive nor cheapest.
