“A little oasis away from the bustle of Kandy”

Stonehouse Lodge have simple rooms (bathroom outdated) but in a very tranquil setting. A lovely outdoor seated area overlooking gardens and the mountains in the distance. Beautiful view from breakfast table. Dinner excellent - had a choice of 5 currys, rice and popadums. Very friendly service. About 15 mins outside of Kandy. Owner was away but his No 2 looked after me, felt at ease even though no one else was there the first night
