An amazing hotel with great value for money. Make sure to book a superior room in the new wing facing the landscapes. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast menu was limited but very good especially the waffles. The staff was super-friendly and accomodating. One must have a driver & car though since public transport in the hotel area is non-existant. One needs a car anyway in Kandy to survive :)

Pssst.. the hotel allows outside food delivery ;) We ordered Pizza Hut once.

To come upto international standard hotel needs to ramp up the services,aminities and restaurant food quality to macth the goodness of location.
During three days of our stay we had same limited breakfast. Weather was considerably cold and we had Just one blanket in the room. We requested for additional blanket & were denied one. The prawns served in the dinner were rotten which spoilt the good mood built-up during the day.

Very good hotel, out of the city, need transport, Very good staff and food. Need new carpets and doors in the old rooms. New rooms 30% more expensive but 200 % better.
Very nice lobby and restuarant. Will recommend to anyone. travelling from Sydney Australia.

It has a nice hill station view and weather. It is a bit run down. They Gym has three worn out home machines, one broken. The hotel is WAY up a hill on a winding road. Since the food is mixed quality you will want to find other places to eat; but that does take some serious effort (and the staff don't help much with finding alternative places to eat). So we spent considerable time dealing with that. It is a nice quiet get away, but even after significant effort we did not find much of interest in the area. There is a Spa in a sisterhotel, but it was so run down we did not go.
