The hotel is located on a hill outside of Kandy. It is quite a trip to get there so better plan your own transportation.
The hotel lobby has been renovated and looks pretty nice .. unfortunately this was not the case for the room we got on the lower floor.
The room was really old, moldy and noisy. Beds were of a bad quality. Deisgn from the 50's ...
Food was average, nothing special about it.
Apparently, it is possible to get a renovated room if paying extra .. but we didnt know that in advance.
As a conclusion, I would say, try to get an renovated room or ... go somewhere else.

Large clean rooms on the ground floor. Don't know what the others are like. Food was delicious, very friendly and helpful staff and an excellent front desk management.

BUT difficult to find and unfortunately a Stop-and-Go Hotel. People come in the evening, some might have dinner, and go straight to bed and are off again early next morning. The musician has no audience in the evening and the bar tender board to death, so how can they do a good job.

The hotel is out of Kandy and it is on the top of a hill. To get to the hotel is a great challenge, bus will not fit in the narrow streets. The lounge is okay, the staff is very friendly and helpful, however the rooms are awful! It is like a time-travel back to the 50s. That would be no problem if the furniture were in good condition, but how it looks right now... unacceptable!

The bathroom was a bit dirty.

An amazing hotel with great value for money. Make sure to book a superior room in the new wing facing the landscapes. You will not be disappointed. The breakfast menu was limited but very good especially the waffles. The staff was super-friendly and accomodating. One must have a driver & car though since public transport in the hotel area is non-existant. One needs a car anyway in Kandy to survive :)

Pssst.. the hotel allows outside food delivery ;) We ordered Pizza Hut once.
