We recently visited the island for the day. We were very amazed with the beauty of the place. Very clean and beautiful furnishings and decoration.
We left the island with mixed feelings as indeed the place is amazing, however we didn't feel the price $140 paanga ( for 2 ppl) reflected what we received. The day trip suggests it includes lunch , however on arrival there were some items that didn't include dessert and it our lunch was on the small side. A free juice or water would have been lovely to go with the lunch but it was all extra, We also had to pay extra for the snorkeling hire, whereas the other island offered them for free.
Service was a bit poor, lacking in enthusiasm and the typical Tongan charisma.
On departure we greeted the owner good bye and he didn't reply to us or acknowledged our visit for the day. Which we felt was a bit rude, We rate the island for what it looks like , but don't rate the day trip , a nearer island offers similar views and much friendlier service and a more authentic feel to the place.
