Nice hotel with a clean lobby. The staff were helpful. The rooms are comfortable but not updated. The air conditioner didn't work. But the location is the best that you can get in Oradea. They also have free Wi-Fi which came very handy for me. Will recommend this hotel as there are not too many options.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. View from the balcony was excellent. Breakfast was tasty with an excellent variety. Hotel is very central and easy to access. If I had more time to spend there I might have been able to say even more.

"Cold Water is potable Warm Water is Geothermal" - that was the sign on all of the taps in the hotel.

What Geothermal means is that it reeks of Sulfur (think, Iceland, Rotorua, Yellowstone,...), burshing my teeth was OK (althugh with Snow outside Ill let you imagine the tooth chilling I went through) but having a shower was a truly horrid experience. Spent the entire day feeling dirty and smelling horrible (luckily so did my colleagues).

The whole atmosphere of the Bar/Lobby was dingy post-soviet eastern-european. The city was not that nice (think beggars and stray dogs) so all in all it was really not a very nice experience....

The only problem is that I don't think there is much choice in town...

The best located, so far, hotel in Oradea has not so clean rooms and has poor quality personnel.
The food suffers a little bit from lack of inspiration , the pool was not welcoming, and the best thing to do for me was ... to get out of the hotel, to the nearby park for jogging or just to walk thru the city.
Therefore, maybe you will have to consider other hotels when staying in Oradea and you want to feel at home.
