“So beautiful!”

This hotel was amazing. A little bit of luxury carved into the mountain side.

Our room was enormous with high ceilings and a fireplace and couch. The bathroom was beautiful. I loved the hot water bottle with turn down!

Breakfast was very good. Free wi-fi always nice.

The location is great just about 5 minutes walk from the train station. Also about 5 minutes walk to the bus up the mountain.

Good markets a few minutes away too.

“Loved this Hotel”

We were lucky enought to be booked at the Inkaterra Hotel on our visit to Machu Picchu. The grounds of the hotel are magnificent. The rooms are large, private and quiet. Our room had a fireplace and a porch out front to sit on and listen to all of the birds. We were visiting with a group of 10 people and everybody loved the hotel, especially their rooms and the grounds. Everybody wished we could have spent more time at this hotel. The hotel is an easy stroll to the restaurants and shops in town and a 20 minute shuttle ride away from Machu Picchu. Wonderful place to stay when visitng Machu Picchu, I would certianly stay here again if I was to visit Machu picchu again.

“Inkaterra-what luxury”

Inkaterra is fabulous, such a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and activities to kep you occupied. Irish I'd had more time to pend here as I not not have enough time to enjoy all it all it has t offer. If you are spending one or 2 nits in Aguas Caliente and going to machu Pichu, then stay somewhere else. But if you have time and have 3/4 or more nites then by al means, spend your time at Inkaterra. It is such a wonderful spot, but you need time to enjoy allit has to offer.

“Incomparable Inkaterra - Aguas Calientes”

Through a wonderful chain of events, we were upgraded to Inkaterra by our tour company. We kept waiting for someone to come to the door and tell us that there had been a terrible mistake. I don't think I've ever stayed at a nicer place. The room was great. The balcony looked out into the trees where we watched the hummingbirds. The best part was the service. We were treated like royalty. We had some of the best food on the entire trip. I see that it is now listed as one of the three best hotels in Peru by Travel & Leisure Magazine. It has my vote.

Room Tip: Check for specials...this is an expensive place but if you have been trekking or bouncing around the...

“Quiet Seclusion”

When we arrived by train in Aguas Calientes we weren't sure what kind of accomodation we had signed up for, and given the 1st impression of the town our expectations were lowered. As you approach and enter the property it is like entering an oassis. The rooms are spread out over the hill side and ensconced in beautiful landscaping and hummingbirds. We got a good deal on the room so they may put us further from the main dining areas, but sitting up high overlooking the property was actually a good thing. Rooms are clean, service is excellent, and the food was wonderful.
