STC chalets are usually the best bet to stay in due to the privacy they offer. The value for money and the 24hour cook service is unbeatable.
An off season rate wld be around PKR 5,000 per room/chalet for a couple. This is accompanied by the grandeur of living in a chalet consisting of a small lawn to sit in, a patio to laze around (and maybe sip a warm cup of coffee). The locations of STC chalets (i think there are around 5 under their ownership) are equally breathtaking.
The staff is well trained and quite cooperative. The food quality however is average to above average at best. but then this is the case for most hill resorts in Pakistan.
