I stayed in this Hostel with 4 other friends. The prices are excellent, and the rooms were clean. The mattress was a bit hard, but thats how I like it. At the Hostel works a guy that is named Usaghi. He is a really friendly guy that also works as a guide. He took us all the way to the top of Volcan Concepcion. Amazing! He also cooks very well, and even made us hummus :)

If you like hippie places you probably found your home. To me, it was a little too much bohemic, even if I think it did have it's charm.. The atmosphere is quite nice and some of the staff were very nice and helpful. The shared "room" we stayed in had no door and was kind of open to the common areas, but I could still sleep pretty well, which is a bit strange not only due to the openess but also to that the mattress was about 2 inches and not very nice to sleep on.. Everything in this hostel just feels a bit too dirty and old. It seemed like a few people had stayed here for weeks, or maybe even month (in a town that not has that much to offer really) so I guess it really suit some people.

This is really a budget choice, friendly staff and its really unexpensive, about 3.50 USD per person in a shared room. The place also has aquite nice bar, where also the locals come to for a beer at night. However, I would probably only recommend this place to someone who likes a hippie atmosphere, who's on a budget, and do not really care about sleeping on a worn out 2 inches mattress.

nice place to stay and the animals in the backgarden are special; a deer liks your hand or legs, but one monkey (mistreated by first owner , is still a little crazy) can bite you, but not severly.

Nice place, nice atmosphere, kind people. Great tours throughout the isla of Ometepe start here, the owner of the hostel will guide you all the way up the top of the Concepcion volcano and is happy to take you for a swim at Lake Nigaragua´s most beautiful beach afterwards! Only minutes walk from the town´s port, where the ferries from San Jorge arrive. Ideal place to meet other travellers. We had a great time!
