This was a stop on our tour from the desert to Marrakech. We didn't choose the location or pay for it separately. It's a comfortable, no frills place. Kasbahs are old and interesting structures. The rooms are clean if spartan. Dinner was excellent, but breakfast is very basic. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's free WiFi in the lobby. After a night in the Berber tents, it seemed fairly upscale!

Me and my partner stayed here on our the way back from the Sahara. We found it to be a very charming place with lots of character with an authentic atmosphere. The interior was like a maze with stairways and courtyards lit by moroccan lanterns which gave the feel of a fairy tale castle!. The location was very quite and peaceful so we had a restful nights sleep. Our room was simple but elegant and clean, we were even offered a choice of which room we'd like. We particularly loved the terrace at the back which had outdoor sofas and overlooked a palm grove. They even served alcohol which is unusual in Morocco but very welcome!. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was gorgeous. We would stay there again.

This is a great place to stop over for the evening on your way between the dunes of the Sahara and Marrakech. Spending a full day in the area is overrated but this Kasbah is a real gem with great views of the date oasis and the Atlas Mountains. Food was ok but by the time you have been in Morocco 5 or 6 days the tangines begin to blend together.
