“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

No other words to the Guest House Merzouga but THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!! It was such a miracle to meet the nice warm owner of the guest house (and later - the stuff!!) and spend few days there! Thank you for saving us from that cold at night and.. for everything: for incredibly tasteful food, for amazing trip to the desert with camels, for all warmth you all gave us!..
Wish you to see someday again!!
Highly recommend this guest house to all going to Morocco!!! It was the nicest experience of all our journey!
Julija and friend from Lithuania. :)

“Stay here and you won't regret!”

I visited Merzouga just for one night in the desert, and during my short stay, I could feel how caring and welcoming the Seggaoui family is. I was coming from Rabat and supposed to reach Merzouga at 7-7:30 AM, but the bus arrived very early, around 5:30 AM, and Ali was already there, knowing that buses tend to arrive earlier these days! He and his brother Omar do their best to make your stay unforgettable. The guesthouse is a lovely place with a charming and spacious salon. In the morning you are served a copious breakfast, and the roof terrace gives a good preview of your desert adventure. Rooms are very clean and well kept (I used one for shower and rest). Wonderful people, impeccable service, beautiful and cozy place, and extraordinary experience of the desert... what more can you expect!?

“Truly a hidden gem!”

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night and 1 night in the dessert for our 1 year anniversary and it was truly a memorable experience. The owners of the guest house, Lahcen and Omar were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay- which made us feel very much at home.
I must mention their food is terrific! The vegetable and beef tajines we had for dinner were no-doubt the best we had in Morocco. The 1 night camel excursion was excellent because it was just the two of us and our two camel guides so we had the whole desert all to ourselves! They even made us berber pizza, which they made from scratch in front of us by our campfire and cooked it under the sand. It wasn't the most delicious but the whole experience was really unique.
The camel trek fun and a good workout for the thighs but what amazes me most is the desert lanscape during sunset and sunrise which was breath-taking.
I would definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

“THE BEST!!”

Don't hesitate, can't imagine there's a better accomodation!!!

We slept one night at the guesthouse. The welcome was very warm and nice. In the evening we had diner and it was superb!! The second day we relaxed by the pool and in the evening we went on a cameltrip. This was a very special experience because we were just with the two of us and the guide. They don't go to other hotels to pick up tourists, so the group will be small.
We slept outside under the stars, very cool!
The family was very nice, friendly and helpfull. They really make your stay enjoyable!
