Excellent hotel in the south of Sainte Marie Island. I stayed there for one week. The place is very authentical, people are friendly. I enjoyed the whalewatching expedition that we had with the hotel boats.

I understood that this hotel is one of four others in a chain. (Masoandro Lodge, Napoleon, La Cocoteraie Invest) each of these hotel is very different. For example the Masoandro is more like a nature lodge whereas the Soanambo is a tree stars standards (with tennis courts, swimming pool and air conditioning) The food is excellent, The bungalows are facing the lagoon, they are spacious and well equipped. I must say, that the beach is not what I like the most, it is very clean and beautiful but I prefer little creeks to swim like the one in the Masoandro lodge... Anyway what I have preferred in the Soanambo is the service. The employees of this hotel are very gentle and helpful; it is evident that they are enjoying their job... The Soanambo hotel is a great place to stay for the discovering of Nosy Boraha Island. I am recommending it.
