We stayed in the camp one night during a 4 day Safari. The biggest difference to our other stops was the fact that you did not sleep in tents, but in solid houses nestled into the mountain with one wall being a moskito net. The rooms and bathrooms are really nice and the view from the restaurant is spectacular.
Now the cons: As said, the houses are built into the rocks. We had some rain in the evening and afterwards there were just way too many critters around (huge slaters, millipedes etc.). I compared it to the ditch in the King Kong movie. In the end we had a 30 cm centipede in our room, great... Be careful, these guys are poisonous. It is ok, you are in the wild, I know, but now I would always prefer a tent (elevated, if possible) to a rock house, as we never had any problems with uninvited guests in them.
The food was the blandest of all our stops and drinks prices were the highest.
All in all, I'd use another place in Tsavo West next time.
