“So, so”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 May 2007

The reception was friendly, the room spacious and clean, with OK bathroom. BUT we were badly bitten by the bedbugs in the night. We were given another room without any fuss, guaranteed to be bedbugs free, because it reeked of insect spray. The buffet breakfast was OK the first morning, but on the second, with a very few guests, we were served stale left overs from the previous day.

Stayed May 2007

“Comfortable hotel at a stone's throw from the wonderful old town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2006

Nested in one tiny street off 26th of september st, and situated exactly halfway between the 2 main gates to the old town ; BAB-AL-MUSA and BAB-AL-KABIR, this hotel is the closest option if you intend to spend all your time wandering in the fantastic old city. We stayed here one night in early may 2006 and paid 44 EUR a double room, including a large buffet breakfast. Staff at the reception desk was polite and efficient. Our double room was large, and everything looked ok and worked properly. Decoration was a bit depressing but thanks god, all furnitures, including the entrance and the toilet doors, were made from pin tree so it gave the fresh impression of being in a chalet, somewhere in the swiss alps. On the 5th floor, the panoramic restaurant served goods dishes, and the view over the old city from the terrace must not be missed.
We had good time here, and this quiet hotel couldn't have a better location.
