While it was just one night at the hotel we did enjoy the place. Very clean rooms, great rooftop bar and reasonable drinks prices. Free internet and left baggage facility was appreciated. Walking along the riverfront in the evening was boosted by the street markets and lots of families out enjoying themselves.

We only stayed one night here during a three-day tour of the Mekong Delta at the end of December, but it was by far our favorite hotel of our entire trip to the South of Vietnam and the most luxurious. The bathroom had a huge two-person tub with an amazing shower, and the room was clean and modern. We got a little complimentary basket of rambutans in our room, an electric kettle, and coffee fixings, which made for a nice evening snack when we checked in. Breakfast was included, and the location was good -- we walked to the waterfront to catch a boat. I would have loved to stay longer.

We stayed here for one night during a tour of the Mekong Delta (with the amazing Jason Superstar! - see the forums, he is best person to do a private tour). I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and large (with 3 adults) our room on the 9th floor was. The free breakfast was great, and though we didn't eat there, the rooftop bar had excellent views. I can't say much about the staff since Jason orchestrated most things beforehand, but the spa is worth considering. You'll probably pay a little more than at the average place on the street ($12 for an hour long body massage and 30 min reflexology) but it's on the 10th floor so it's quiet and is still reasonably priced, particularly since it actually has a "spa" feel.

Another reviewer mentioned that it was a good choice, but not posh and that is a spot on description. The Victoria seems to be the luxe hotel in Can Tho, but if you are only staying one night and busy with activities around the Mekong - spend a third of the price and stay at this great option. For one night - we had no regrets and were thrilled with the bill!

Very clean and comfortable. Unpretentious, staff not too helpful, rooms perfectly adequate, not special, good beds. But great location for walking around town, good value for money, best choice in town. Poor breakfast, eat out. Not 'boutique' as Lonely Planet suggests, but nothing wrong with it.
