Slightly outside of Pai, but well worth the walk, Baan Krating is quiet, very classy and set in what can only be described as manicured jungle. The deluxe rooms are superb and ours had balconies for sunrise and sunset.
Only problem was the food which was incredibly limited on the restaurant menu. The room service menu is far more extensive but the restaurant staff bizarrely knew nothing about it. Food at the Bella Villa, a few minutes walk away is much better._

We spent a night at the hotel. Other than discovering a huge lizard in our bedroom, there wasn't much glory in the Hotel. Its pretty rundown and isn't kept up at all.

We stayed there 2 nights during the time we visited Pai. The hotel room is good size and the bathroom is small but has everything you need. I like the hotel room, it is simple but good. There is a big size pool look over the river. The hotel is not very far from town, it is relaxing. The restaurant food is not that great and it is expensive, recommend just to eat breakfast there. My sister in law loved Pai and would like to extend the stay, it was raining the whole time we were there and the last day we stayed there it was sunny. :( The road to Pai has so many curves, if we would go there again, it would be the plane.

Baan Krating is a very nice place for to relax, very friendly staff, good food. The rooms have beautiful decorations, the bathroom is clean (no bathtube, shower only) and you have a nice view from the balcony in front of the room. The staff was busy for to improve the gardens. Sure that we will stay more at this resort.
