This place was recommended by my friends. I was there in low season in the cheapest bungalow (400 THB - 15 US $). Bungalow was build on the rocks 5 meters above sea. It was absolutely amazing, wake up, go to the balcony, and see sea below my feets. Room was big with two large beds. Fan only (no AC) and only cool water. In our bathroom lives some lizards and a lot of ants, but who cares? :)

Dec 2009 What a dump this place is, just waiting to be brought out by an upmarket resort that will just knock it all down. There is no maintance on the bunglows which are a pile of [--] in the first place. Our bunglow had no light bulbs when we turned up no bed sheets there is holes all over the place which is good for giant lizzards but was not too appealing to us. The bathroom door was being eaten by some bugs daily so would come back after a few hours to find a big pile of saw dust on the floor that had been lunch!!! The towels where also dirty.
The staff are unfriendly and most of the time non existant, when you do manage to track them down i think that they might of spent most of the day and night smoking something****
I would not recomend this place i would never stay here again even if you paid me a load of money:-)

We stayed at dreamhill and found it to be very basic and run down. No pressure in the shower (dribble) and fowl smells coming from the sewerage. Its not on the beach but on the hill so get use to walking up stairs. I found the staff to be arigant and try to take advantage of getting money out of you. Anyway to make an extra buck they will try it. The bed had springs poking out and the other one was a plank of ply is was that hard. If something is not working in your room tell them straight away because they will say that you broke it, and you will have to pay for it. Please just go somewhere else.

Just returned from a short trip to Thailand that included a five-day stay at Dream Hill to find that they had processed 2 x 50,000 Bt charges on one of our credit cards. We paid cash for our 300B room and also for the meals we had there (total of 2,820 Bt for a 5 day stay). We suspect that they either broke into our locked valuables bag that was held in reception or got the number and card details by taking an impression of the card through the nylon sides of the bag (believe me this does work, we have tested it ourselves). We were going to recommend the place for its quietness, sea breezes and hammocks but obviously not now.
