We stayed here over the new years period and just fell in love with this place.

The staff really made the trip. They organise whatever you need, day trips, meals, transport. The food at the restaurant is some the best we had on the island. The breakfast was also some of the best we had.

The rooms are nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. The beds are fairly hard, but I like that so it suited. It's a very beautiful place, all the accomodation is surrounded by bamboo trees as high as a two story building. It is very beautiful.

Location wise, it is just close enough the Haad Rin that it is a cheap taxi, but far enough away to not have to deal with the craziness.

I would highly recommend staying here. It was a highlight of our trip.

everything about this hotrl is great. To start it all off we were met at the pier by a member of staff and was transfered straight to the hotel, upon check in we was greated by the check in staff then smiothly checked in.

To be honest our room was a bit small and it could have done with a wardrobe, which would have come in handy considering we had to stay a minimum of 5 night due to the New Year celebrations at Haad Rin, the room it self was clean and tidy and located close to facilities that the hotel had to offer.

The pool was a bit covered by the trees etc but there was a 5 foot step to the hotels beach.

The resturant and bar area was also clean and tidy and offered the best food of all the hotels we stayed at on our trip.

Would I go back to The Milky Bay? Without a shadow of a doubt.

This resort is fantastic. The staff are extra friendly and helpful, the food is great, and the atmosphere is peaceful. My boyfriend and I (in our late twenties) stayed here for three nights and couldn't believe how luxurious it was. We stayed in one of the studio apartments, and it was spacious and spotless. From what I saw when I peeked at the other, smaller rooms, they were also great.

Stay here. You will not regret it. Don't worry about being away from Haad Rin - you will be thankful for the peace and quiet.

So happy we got to spend one night at this amazing resort! We stayed in a standard aircon bungalow, which was small but very nice. It had everything we needed. The staff at Milky Bay are incredible, so wonderful and helpful! The restaurant is also brilliant! I recommend that anyone who stays here does the barbecue... my fish was so incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection, with a delicious potato! I have tried fish a number of times in Thailand and Milky Bay was the best by a mile! The location of the resort is so romantic and beautiful, right on the beach and away from the craziness which is Koh Phangan, but still close to Hadrin Beach. I miss this place already!
