I don't do the beach, I don't do the sun nor the heat. What am I doing on this island for? I came from Australia to visit someone special ;) and at first thought "What did I get myself into?"

I never stayed at a Best Western Resort before, and back home Best Western is classified as 2-3 stars, so I wasn't expecting much from this resort, however I was overwhelmed how friendly the staff were.

The staff greeted me as I entered the resort, checked me in promptly and also carried my bags to my room, I was overwhelmed with how attentive the staff were (and was exactly what I needed after being awake for over 24 hours)

There were times where I had a meal at the restaurant in the resort. The food was cheap and fresh. I realised the menu changed couple days later with more options for their guests.

I went during the half moon season, it was not so busy so it was nice to be able to sit outside by the pool to read a book and listen to my tunes without being disturbed.

John one of the staff at the restaurant was amazing, he's English wasn't great but he made me feel really welcome as he always had a big smile and good attention to detail.

If you ever wanted to go on tours or go to Samui for the day, the front desk will help you! they organised tours for me and transfers to and from Samui and also advised me of where to visit.

I highly recommend everyone to stay at the resort (most importantly, it is only a few minutes walk from the Haad Rin Pier), however still recommend that you catch a taxi to the resort.

Actually i live in Samui I decide to came to Phangan for 2 days need to off from work. After was there i really love this hotel, Excellent located just 5 minutes walk from Haad Rin pier and main areas. Gorgeous panoramic view at the pool by the beach ( really enjoy with glass of wine with sunset). Room and facility nice comfortable bed and clean i fall as sleep like a baby. Staff really friendly and very warm welcome make me feel like i'm home!!!..

Definitely i will back again, For visiter can recommend this place to your friend or family, they will love it. ;-)

I came to Koh Phangan in November and stayed here for 2 days. i really love this place. It's so excellent located just 5 minutes walk Haad Rin pier and night life area of Haad Rin, hotel close to the beach, I lovin to lay down on sunbed by the pool front of the beach having a fancy glass of cocktail watching a beautiful sun falling down in to the sea. I already falling in love in this place really relaxing place. All the staff were friendly and warm welcome. The facilities were great too!. The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfortable!! I slept like a baby!
I will definitely put the Best Western Phanganburi in my favourite place to stay in Phangan for another visit and recommend friends and family to stay here when they visit!.they gonna love it .

I turned up at this hotel at 3.30pm after the 3pm checkin time and was told that I would have to wait half an hour for my room. I was offered a watery fruit juice as compensation.

Because I prebooked I had to take the room they gave me, and it was one at the front that overlooked a building site and busy road, as oppose to the 95% of rooms that are in the garden area or face the sea.

I went down to say could I change and they said no. They were also laughing at me when I had my back turned.

There was an American guy working there who was unfriendly and didn't offer to help at the front desk while I was discussing with the staff.

If you stay at this place it is worth either prebooking a cottage or walk in and book a room but insist on seeing it first in case they give you one of the bad ones.
