Felt like in heaven; everything was just perfect : the lovely people of the ressort who made you feel at home from the second you enter the ressort.
The rooms are very nice with sexy bathrooms (stayed in standard & deluxeroom), the pool area with full service (drinks, food, massages) and a nice beach with stunning views.
Restaurant serves great thaifood for reasonable prices, motorbikes (recommended: there is so much to see: the fantastic beaches of the north,the herbal steam sauna, parties in the jungle, on beaches ,at waterfalls ,night market in Thong Sala ,Amsterdam Bar.........)and tours (dont miss the Ao Thong Marine Park Tour with Orion) can be organized by the reception. Dont (i repeat DONT)expect anonymous fivestarquality but a wonderful charming ressort with great staff in completely relaxed atmosphere.
Cant wait to come back............

Me and my boyfriend stayed three nights in B52 just after spending a couple of days in, much louder, Samui. We really enjoyed the cosy, laidback feeling of the resort and this part of the island - perfect for just relaxing by the pool or the beach with a book. We ended up having brekafast, lunch and dinner at B52 which has amazing food! We only left the resort for taking a trip to Haad Rin and the market in Thong Sala. I definately recommend this place and would go back any day! There is no free wi-fi,but for a modest fee of 50 baht a day you get full access in all resort. The only downside I can think of is the lack of safetyboxes in the bungalows.

We stayed at B-52 for 11 nights in January 2011 and had a really great time. Having a teenage daughter who wanted wireless so she could keep in touch with her friends, we paid 300 baht for the whole 12 days which I though very good value and she could log on 24 hours a day, much better than hourly rates. Chai, Lek & Rain, the three guys who serve you are just fantastic, always helpful and well mannered. The young lady (can't remember her name) on the front desk was also really friendly and professional. They clean the rooms daily and the rooms have clean white linen and very comfortable beds and pillows. The pool is clean and well maintained and the swim-up bar is a bonus. Its not the cheapest resort but its safe, friendly and the staff are honest. This resort is within walking distance of Tong Sala (10 minutes) which suited us as a family but its not the nicest beach on Koh Phangan. We still swam in the ocean aswell as the pool but if you are looking for a beautiful beach there are better beaches on this island. We preferred the quieter resort rather than battle with backpackers at Haad Rin. Its quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Thank you B52 for a fantastic holiday. Hope to be back again soon. What a disappointment. Having read the other trip advisor comments we were expecting somewhere really special where we could relax on the last few days of our holiday.

We paid over 1800 baht per night for this - in other places I have paid half as much and got twice the value.

The truth is that the bungalows are very basic indeed. These are arranged around a car park, poorly disguised as a garden. The location of the bungalows is right next to another resort which plays karaoke incredibly loudly until the small hours of the morning.

We had to sleep with all the doors and windows locked as there are no locks on the mosquito screens.

When you pay a premium for a sea view you do not expect to have a car park view (as all the accommodation does).

The website also claimed to provide free wireless Internet access and yet they have just charged me 50 baht per day. This is one of my pet hates - it doesn't cost them a cent more to give me access and yet I am charged for it!

Tv claims to have international channels but there is only one which is in English which is some obscure Asian business news channel.

On arrival I was tempted to go somewhere else but because we booked up front via an agent we were told we had to pay for the full 8 day stay. Having inspected the bungalow I tried to reduce this to 4 nights but they wouldn't let me.

The girl in front of me in the line at reception was also having problems as she had apparently been over charged by the agents.

On the positive side there is a nice view out to the sea from the main building - but you can get the same view for less elsewhere...so why stay here?
