We loved this bungalow!!
We spend 5 days there and it was just nice.
The bungalows are clean (anytime you want it to be cleaned, just tell the friendly stuff), big, and most of them with air con.
You can rent motorbikes there, what we did every day- very cheap and very good.
The whole stuff is just great- very familar. The beach is just in front of the bungalows- but not so good for swimming. As I said, we rent the bikes and we drove to some other beaches. No problem for us...
We would go there every time again.

Intended to stay here for 5 days but left early. Looked good in the brochure the agent in Chiang Mai showed me. But brochure/web site heavily Photo Shopped and bears little resemblance to the reality, which is shocking. Very run down, dirty (no one cleaned in the time I was there), old damaged furniture, place crawling with insects. Breakfast was very basic. 'Welcome drink' was half a glass of flat Coke (I should have realised what was coming). During heavy rainfall a snake came down from the roof into my room. They moved me but had no concern about it. I left the next day. In reality only one bungalow is on the beach - all others are back along a trail facing each other so little privacy. This place is very basic with absolutely no charm. Hugely overpriced. Beach is heavily polluted at high tide mark with water bottles, clothing etc. Beach has loads of broken glass on it and very rocky at the shoreline. Paradise this is not!

This 'resort' is extremely over priced for what you get and to call it a resort is a stretch of the imagination. I paid 700baht for a bungalow that did not have hot water and was pretty shabby. The service overall was poor and I was extremely disappointed with my stay. There are cheaper better quality bungalows at other places in Koh Lanta, I cannot recommend this place.

The cheapie wooden bungalow I stayed in was unliveable -- paper thin walls that made it impossible to sleep, lights that didn't work, full of bugs and lizards (there were geckos and spiders in the bed, and my backpack would fill up with thousands of ants every night), no linen on the bed despite the fact that it got quite cold at night, absolutely filthy and stifling hot to the point where it was impossible to be in the room during the day. Furthermore, the construction of the bungalow was so poor that anyone could've easily broken in.

Yes, I stayed in the cheapest bungalow available, but the point is: there are far, far better places to stay for the same price or cheaper. This place was just a cess pit.

It is also very true that the owners here do shady business, too. Here are some incidents that occured while I was there:

1. The room rate changed quite a lot over the short period of time that I stayed here. On my first night, the lady charged me 500 baht for the bamboo bungalow. On my second night, the man charged me 400 baht. Then, on the third night (which I ended up cancelling and going somewhere else anyway) I was going to be charged 350 baht. It seems that another reviewer on this page paid 800 baht for the exact same room as me. Hmmm..!

2. I booked a ferry to Phi Phi through them. I got ready and made my way to reception at 7am, the time I was told to be there by. I was then left waiting around the reception area for 30 minutes while the man pissed about cleaning the pool, clearly ignoring me. Finally, he told me to go back to bed because the minibus wouldn't be leaving until 8.30am. I went back to my room and - surprise, surprise! - 15 minutes later, one of the man's sons was knocking on my door, telling me that I had missed the minibus. However, a group of people I had met at the resort told me that no minibus ever came. In the end I was able to get a refund, but it was at that exact moment that everyone there suddenly stopped being so "nice" to me and became extremely rude. Which brings me to...

3. The price of the internet "coincidently" became more expensive after I demanded a refund for the botched Phi Phi trip. I had used the internet for 1 hour the night prior and still had an outstanding fee to pay. When I went to pay, the internet was suddenly 20 baht dearer than what I had paid before. When I brought this up, the man said (and I quote) "why are you worried about money? you already have enough money anyway" and shooed me away.

4. Everyone else I met at the resort had had problems with the owners, too.

I ended up cutting my stay here short and leaving for another bungalow on the next beach over with a girl I met at the resort. It was cheaper and much, MUCH nicer.
