We stayed here with our kids for a couple of nights. We were in a deluxe room that was very poor in quality. The bathroom had flies. The buffet was full of flies and was very expensive (800+ per person). The beach was closed because of some factory near by dumping some chemical waste into the waters!! Anything you touched was so expensive which made me wonder why they were charging so much for substandard stuff. They charged us for an extra mattress (for our kid) without letting us know upfront! The play structures were rusty. We ended up going about 2km from this place to find a decent restaurant that had tastier food. Terrible place.

Stayed over the long weekend along with my wife and had a good experience. spend considerable time in the beach. has good cuisine, which is served on the beach side. observed a lot of outsiders come-in for having buffet lunch. of course, there is still lot of room for improvement

"Marvellous experience"
I was at this resort very recently as we had selected this as the venue for our customer offsite training. i was particularly amazed at the spread of the property and the attention given to the maintainance of the property. The most amazing part was the attached private beach whcih we had direct and easy access too.
This motivated us to setup the evening dinner near the beach and the F&B staff offered us live counters suhc as Dosa, Starters, etc to make the mood even more exciting for our customers.

I will defintely recommend for a good 1N/2D stay at this resort as it was relaxing even after conducting 2 full days of busienss at this place.

My first experience of MGM Resort was on a official 1 Night outing which was purely for office work. But I loved the place hence planned to come back again with my wife and baby doll for exploring more and have fun.

We decided on a weekend getaway and MGM for couple of reason
1. It is very close to my house hence too much driving could be avoided.
2. My past experience of staying with them for Official Purpose.

Rooms
The room we stayed in was a Delux Suite considering the price we paid was not a great room but strictly ok. Its typical beach side resort style rooms nothing great to offer.

Pool
It has a decent swimming pool but the kind of crowd which comes there are terrible hence stricitly avoid pool in the aftenoon time since the class of crowd are bad.

Resturant
It has got a very good beach side resturant the food served are very very good. One should try the after noon buffet at reasonable price you get a decent spread.

Beach
It has got its own private beach which is not that clean but still one could enjoy.

Overall exprience was not that bad but it was not great. The problem with this beach resort is the crowd which comes in. Even though you find family crowd which are not that decent but you get office going crowd which can get into your nerves when you are with family.
