“awesome place”

We stayed here in the end of Jan 2012.It was a wonderful experience. The property is sprawling and Mother Nature has been allowed to be at her best. The orchards, river, hanging bridge, tree house, waterfall are fascinating .So too is the coffee processing plant and the eco farm.
The only improvement we can think of is better lighting in the evenings especially on the way to the Peninsula rooms and a tea/coffee maker in the rooms.
Ask for Anand at the restaurant, he's very good...

The perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Lovely atmosphere, close to nature with the hills and streams, in short a perfect getaway. Warning - people who want to use their mobiles, watch TV etc, this is not the place.....Had great fun and enjoyed the stay. I have to mention the homely and lovely and tasty food that was served.

Room Tip: I loved all rooms. We were at the Peninsula....

“Resort Closer to Nature!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

If you are looking for the place which is mid of hills and want to get jungle like feeling. This is the place you need to head too.

The Farm is well located. The farm has different types of cottages. There is a stream which divides the farm. They grow they own veges. There are rooms on other side of stream. They also tree top cottages. They provide guided trek in the hills and you have option for horse ride. The place is very scenic and clam. There are cottages which give you hill view and river view

We stayed here for 2 nights. Frist night we choose room on the other side of the stream but the only problem here is its too far away from the front office and restaurant. We did enjoy the stay here it was almost staying in middle of the forest with a good cottages. The second we choose the place near to restaurant as we had initially booked only for day and since we liked the place we wanted to stay over for another day . Both the cottages had its own experience. The cottages are well maintained. They have 24 hrs water, but the water is not that good.
Food is great but it’s overpriced. We did not like the restaurant guys you keep reminding the food is overpriced and are hesitant to cook more food even if you are ready to pay. The weather is pleasant and chilly which will make you feel really hungry. But the menu options sucks big time and they serve really less food for the price you pay. They take very long time to serve the food.

I would recommend this place as the location is really good and it’s worth if you like to be closer to the nature.

Room Tip: If there are kids, please pick room near to restuarnt , rooms on the other side river is far away an...

“Dirty, dingy place in the name of eco resort”

If at you want to experience discomfort at a price, you need to get into this place. Accessing this place itself is a task. Once you get into the place, a stinking office welcomes you. Move forward, you realize what a mistake you made. The rooms are like pigeon holes. Even my pigs won't stay there. The bed shakes as though it is going to fall before you fall into it. The toilets are horrible. the roofing is scaring. All cobwebs. the water you get in your taps is stinking. The place is next to a slum and the so called river is a stream where locals wash everything. Full of mosquitoes. No ac, no fan, no hot water in the bathroom except 30mts. The only good about this place are the staff and the restaurant for food. They don't even have cold beer. It is hot like a oven. I just walked out after a night, though I had a booking for three nights. It was dreadful.

Room Tip: No rooms are good. I heard honeymoon cottages are better, but not sure. No refund policy.Cheats!

“An amazing place”

What a special place. Go here for an experience. You are not with the people of India (excluding the exceptional staff) you are with the nature and beauty of India and in this peaceful, eco friendly unique oasis it is quiet enough and special enough to have some real time in nature. But this is by no means roughing it. We stayed here for three nights knowing it was a bit of a splurge (fully worth it) for some relaxation time on a resort that did not separate you from the outside, no bumpers, actually it invited you in. We missed a parade of elephants walking by at 5 am in the morning (be sure to ask ahead, we didn't) but horseback rode (their horse farm) into the tall hills and mountains, a four hour trekk with an awesome Indian 60 year old guide (thank you!!). We toured the organic garden, I picked the head of lettuce I wanted in my salad (fresh produce after one month!) and stayed in the tent house. We also stayed at Dune hotel, we liked this one more. And our server and seemed to be all around manager of everything was AWESOME, very special. Thank you. HOpefully some day we will be back.

Room Tip: Tent house
