We were a big group of around 15 people who went there for New Year 2012. Overall its a nice property but done up to a basic standard. The first night that we were there, the staff arranged a very nice bonfire for us, which was very nice. But during the bonfire, we got the shock of our lives when we caught one of the staff red-handed stealing money from my friend's bag. He had actually used the master keys and slipped into my friend's room when we were at the bonfire. Luckily another friend popped by our rooms to pick up something and caught him red-handed in the act! We complained to the manager who did try and make it better for us after that, but this episode left me with a very sour taste and made me very paranoid about leaving anything even remotely valuable in the room. The best part about the stay was the food - I got to experience the local Rajasthani cuisine which was wonderful. Every single meal at the hotel was excellent! The new year celebrations arranged by the hotel wasnt what we were looking for, but they allowed us to use their bar area for us to have our private party and since we had taken our own music and booze, it worked out very well for us. The rooms are nice but as I mentioned earlier, the furnishings were only meeting minimum required standards compared to the price we were paying for them. It is quite a pretty property and did give us a nice 'haveli' feel. But it is the middle of nowhere and we were not informed of any walking trails or any activities that we could do outside of the property, so everyone just chilled out indoors. We did a quick trip to Fatehpur Sikhri which turned out to be really close, so I would suggest that as a possible trip while you stay in this hotel. Overall it was a nice place to chill out and get together with friends, but lets just say it didnt blow my mind away... :)
