A well run and very pleasant hotel situated in a quiet area of Amritsar, the old fashioned decor and furniture in the reception areas lend to a relaxed and almost Victorian like atmosphere!!
Our Suite was amazing and had three areas to rest and relax in, the tv room and annexe and a large double bedroom, also a sofa bed too.
The roof top sun area has sun chairs and seating to relax and take in the views of the area, meals were served in the small but well run restaurant, or if you liked outside but Mosquitos caused some discomfort.
Our trips out to the Sikh Golden Temple and the Indian Pakistan border went well and are worth doing also if you like wildlife take a trip out to Harake wildlife and Wetland centre about an hours journey away from the hotel.
Breakfasts were eaten outside on the patio area near the main restaurant, lots to eat and all cooked to perfection, lovely to hear the bird life ealrly in the morning. The hotel boasts a healthy eating option which is well worth trying.
Rama the hotel manageress helped immensely in our planning of our shopping and site seeing excursions and was always pleased to hear of any ideas we might have for improving the experience.
Our stay was very enjoyable and a visit is planned for the near future.

Carpet shopping and clothes etc can be found

This was an ideal place to stay to get away from the noise and congestion of India for a couple of days. It is a delightful, restored home. The added spa is lovely and they offered a basic Swedish massage that was reasonably priced (not on the spa list of services). I was disappointed yoga was expensive and by appointment. The rooms are large and relaxing and there is patio area to sit and quietly read. The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired - plan to eat somewhere else if possible. It is about a 20 minute taxi ride to the Golden Temple area, so this is not the place to stay if you want to be in the "happening" part of Amritsar.

Atmospheric old house with stunning antique furniture and pictures. It is so relaxing you feel like you are staying at an old friend's wonderful family home.

I only stayed one night but managed a massage in the spa which was excellent.

Staff were very helpful as I had an early check in and they prepared me a lovely breakfast.

Definitely recommend it.

Arriving in the noisy and chaotic Amritsar, it was a great joy to enter the heritage Ranjit's Svaasa. The kindness of the staff is the first welcome, then the quiet of the garden, the traditional style of the whole house, the colors, the cosy structure and the furnishing, at the same time warm and comfortable, are a true little paradise.
The room was quiet, cosy and comfortable, the big bathroom in stone and marble exellent.
Very good cuisine and a nice garden for peaceful breakfasts and dinners, and a welcoming and beautiful spa are also to be mentioned.
