It's been over a month since we left Anil, Jeeva and their beautiful family and home. Our busy lives back in the UK have got in the way of writing the glowing review we wanted to. Royal Mist was the highlight of our trip to India in December - as soon as we arrived we were made to feel so incredibly welcome and loved our sunset tea plantation walk with Anil and his lovely daughter. We stayed over Christmas and it was wonderful. On Christmas Eve Anil, Jeeva and their children brought us cake and wine which they shared with us and the other (really lovely) guests. We all had a memorable carol singing experience with some local people! And we haven't even mentioned the food yet! Mmmmmmmm! We miss it so much! We had a cooking lesson with Jeeva on Christmas day and cooked her recipe for friends in the UK for New Year's Eve - it was delicious but definitely not as tasty as Jeeva's! Boxing Day was the highlight for us - the most amazing Boxing Day walk with our new friends we made of the other guests along the mountain ridge in search of elephants with Vijayan. This was followed by the incredible experience of joining in with the local Hindu Temple festival procession as the sun set. We both felt so sad to leave, but we are so happy to have experienced all of this. Thank you Anil and Jeeva! We hope you are all well!
PS. Also the most comfortable bed we slept in in Kerala
