When I arrived at the hotel early morning, they didn't had the type of room I had booked over the phone as they have 12 noon check out. But the receptionist didn't think twice to upgrade me to a superior room at the same cost. Although the room was small but was very comfortable with all modern amenities including fully stocked mini-bar. The bathroom was much spacious comparatively with all the amenities that you would expect in an luxury hotel. It had a chic silver tiles on the floor and walls which gave the bathroom a very modern look. I wend for my work after freshening up and when I came back my room was the way I had left which was rather disappointing. Remarkable was the quality of bed and pillow which put me to sleep very quickly. The other thing which was a little let down was that they did not had any F&B outlet. This meant that you had to consume your food in the small confine of your room. While I checked out in the morning the next day, I got a call from the receptionist saying that they forgot to adjust two hundred odd Rupee and requested if I could come an pick it up on my way to airport. I thought that was rather honest and sweet.

We stayed here two nights and had a great time. Rooms are nicely decorated, bed are more than comfy, rain-shower, TV, Minibar, good WiFi - there`s really everythng you`ll need!

Location is central in Panjim and a good base for exploring the surroundings. This is really a great Hotel!

But: It is a shame - breakfast is included in the roomrate but the cook has absolutely no clue about preparing a meal - even breakfast!!! One morning we ordered some omelette and toast. First it arrived wrong - after ordering again the omelette was completely oily, cold, unseasoned (they don`t give you salt & pepper to re-season) and the toast was wet and chewy... After that we felt half the day sick....

On day two we ordered cornflakes (because we thought it can`t get wrong). But they delivered first time something wrong and soaked the cornflakes into the milk... not eatable! So after ordering another time it was ok....

Sadly there are no other breakfast restaurants nearby.

So: Dear Salida del Sol-Management - if you read this- FIRE THE COOK!! It is shame for your nice hotel!!!!!

Salida Del Sol is an ideally located business boutique Hotel in Panaji, Goa. It is clean and elegant with a modern ambience. The rooms are equipped with the latest modern amenities and the suite is extremely comfortable. The service is excellent and staff is extremely courteous. I would certainly like to stay here on my next visit to Panaji, Goa.

The hotel is located in one of the busiest business street of Panjim, the capital city of Goa. Goa has been my favourite destination since last 10 years as i love goan hospitality, goan food and goan people. this hotel started business in April 2010 and is a boutique business hotel catering to all needs of todays businessman. Check-In was fast and without any problems. The front office staff was very friendly and gave me a room as per my choice. The room was neat and clean and tastefully decorated with almost all facilities required on daily basis for business and leisure, eg., Shaving Kit, Dental Kit, Shoe Shiner, Business Kit, Personal Kit, Match Boxes, Mini Bar, Bathroom Amenities - Shampoo, Conditioner, Comb etc.. They have interactive Room Entertainment System through which you can book a cab, order your food, know more about the hotel and a lot more. one more unique arrangement which i noticed was "SOL SERVICE" you need anything, just press a button and someone will be there to help you. the in house restaurant is not yet started but they have 24 hours room service. as they said - restaurant will also be started soon, in the first week of June 2010. Overall it was a very nice experience staying with this property. If you are on a vacation, the main market of Panjim is just a minutes walk from the hotel. lots of auto rickshaws, cabs etc are available just outside the hotel. if you are on a business tour, all government offices are hardly on 5 minutes drive from the hotel.

and to top all that - the charges are equivalent to any budget hotel.
