“Great value-wonderful people.”

The SeaGrape is run day to day by Mariela- from the initial reservation to our departure she was one of the nicest and most genuinely kind people we have ever met. She reserved the room we requested, sent out laundry, she even got a hole fixed in my only shirt when I realized I had a business mtg when I got off the plane ...wow! The hotel rooms are central American- cement with AC bathroom and either a dbl and twin bed or a king and twin. The cabins all have a dbl and a twin...the cabins have AC but no TV... But the cabins have a porch and a hammock. The pool is small but cute... The rooms and entire place were spotless. Tony the Dive Guide is super chill and the dives are small groups and more grown up than many of the " popular" dive shops...if you like quiet diving.. SeaGrape is a hidden gem...ask to go to Texas site :)

Room Tip: Go for a cabin...way more festive!

“Comfortable, tranquil resort”

Though a tiny bit worn, the bungalows are clean, quiet and comfortable, and you have your choice of using the fan or the A/C. I had a fantastic ocean view and a hammock on the porch for about $60 US. What more could you ask for? The staff, especially the manager Mariela, was extremely kind and helpful. I didn't use the pool, but it overlooks the ocean and looked very clean. One downside is the walk into town. The road to the resort is a bit muddy and slippery, so either bring a flashlight if you walk at night and tread carefully, or pay about $1.50 and take a taxi. The other is that there is no direct beach access.

Room Tip: All bungalows face the ocean. There are rooms in a larger building behind the bungalows, which are s...

“Seagrape All-Inclusive Dive Resort”

If you value peace and quiet - this is your place. If you value cleanliness and friendly staff, this is your place. If you want the best place from which to dive, with the best boats and a great Dive master, "Tony" - this is definitely your place. If you want to party from the place you dive - this is not your place...for that, go to about any dive shop in the West End (lots of flavor there; and dirt/noise/drunk gringos, etc...). Or you can opt for up-scale and spend twice as much at a spot in West Bay and go out diving cattle-boat style. This is an honest place - not elegant, but it is efficient and clean; everything I needed to dive 23 times in eight days! Stock your small fridge with basics and visit any of the small restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you are about The Dive, or hitting the zip lines, horseback riding or any of the other opportunities the area offers, and don't care for another homogenous experience, you cannot beat The Seagrape Plantation Resort!

Room Tip: If you score a cabin - you won't hav a TV, lik he rooms, but you'll have the ocean!

“Great Place”

Hi, I highly recomend this place, I´ve been to Roatan lots of times but my stay on this hotel has been the most memorable. It´s clean, decorated with good taste, has a really nice pool area, infront of a beatiful dead reef on the sea, and the price is great specially compared to hotels in west end that are worth the same rate.
